How To Register

By Mail: Print, fill out and mail in the registration form with your payment.
At the Dance School: Please call (732) 463-0550 to make an appointment.
OPEN HOUSE! Monday, August 22, Tuesday, August 23 and Wednesday, August 24 at 5:30 p.m.
By Phone: Please call 732-463-0550 and request a brochure with registration form. Mail it back to us with your payment.
By Fax: Print registration form from our website, fax to 732-463-0349. We will hold faxed registrations for one week. Payment will be expected by mail.

 

What do we wear? What is the Dress Code?

All Dancewear is available at Miss Carol's School of Dance.

All dancewear must be Capezio, Danskin, Revolution, or In-Motion brands for the sake of durability, discipline and uniformity. Teachers will inspect students' attire at each class.
All students must have correct attire for admission into class.


Ages 3 to 7:

Girls - NEW!
In-Motion brand black leotard with attached skirt or In-Motion brand plain black leotard, Danskin pink ballet tights, Revolution pink leather ballet shoes, Revolution black tap shoes. Hair must be confined in a ponytail or bun. No detachable skirts, colored leotards or extra accessories. All jewelry must be removed for safety.

Boys -
White T-shirt, black cotton stretch pants, black or white socks, Revolution black leather ballet or Revolution jazz shoes, Revolution black tap shoes.
No oversized printed T-shirts will be allowed.

Classical Ballet:

Girls - plain
black leotard, no skirts; Danskin pink ballet tights, Revolution pink leather or Capezio or Sansha canvas ballet shoes, hair must be confined in a bun.

Boys - Plain white T-shirt, black lycra stretch pants, Revolution black or white leather or canvas ballet shoes or Revolution black jazz shoes.

Tap:

Revolution buckle tap shoes (Level 1), Revolution "Split Sole", in addition to above Capezio or Danskin tights and leotard. Hair must be confined in a ponytail or bun.
(Some classes may be required to purchase a different style of shoe.)

Jazz:

In-Motion Black Cotton/Lycra Dance pants, Capezio or In-Motion black leotard, Danskin shimmer and or tan tights, Cotton/Lycra Bike Unitard, Revolution black split-sole jazz shoes, or jazz sneaker. Ballet outfit may also be worn with jazz shoes.
Hair must be confined in a ponytail or bun.
(Some classes may be required to purchase a different style of shoe.)

Latin Jazz:

Same as Jazz. Please check with teacher for correct shoe.

GymJazz: Same as Jazz.

Adult Combo, You & 2:

Anything Comfortable plus ballet, tap and/or jazz shoes. Hair should be off the face.

No leg warmers, skirts, sweatshirts or pants, jeans, oversized printed T-shirts, street shoes or jewelry will be allowed in any class for the sake of proper body placement and safety.
How much does it cost?
Enrollment fee per family (new students)

$25.00 per year

1 class per week per family
(based on one child in family taking one class per week)

$46.00 per month

2 classes per week per family
(based on either one child taking 2 classes or 2 children* taking one class each)

$90.00 per month

Additional classes receive further discounts. You may also save by paying by the semester or by the year.
Discount prices are listed in the Student Handbook.
Once a method of payment is selected, it can not be changed for any reason.

Final Tuition Payment............ $57.50 due April 25, 2006 (one class per week)

*Children must be brothers and/or sisters. Cousins with the same last name are considered a separate family and cannot be included in the registration fee or discounts with another family.

Private single lesson
(based upon teacher availability)

Four private one hour lessons
(Paid in full, in advance)

When do we start?
Classes begin Thursday, August 25, 2005!
Students may enter at any time but are advised to join before February 1, 2006.
Missed or canceled classes for the month can be made up in in any same-level class.
(Students must make up in their own age level class, i.e. NurseryStars cannot make up in Toddlerifics!)
Tuition remains the same.

* Please be advised - Students entering after February 1, 2006 are not eligible to participate in the June Dance Recital, due to costume unavailability.
